| The LPO is responsible for the loss prevention program and reports to the Administrative PIC any activity pertaining to loss prevention. Responsibilities include: Must be knowledgeable and have strong understanding of federal, state and local laws and codes as they pertain to the apprehension and detaining of persons committing criminal activity on Dan's property. Arrest and detain anyone committing a criminal act on Dan's property. Monitor customer, employee and vendor activity inside and outside of the store. Monitor parking lot and store perimeter. Monitor surveillance equipment. Must be at least 18 years of age. Hours may vary, but mainly afternoon/evening hours, does include weekends. Also includes working at all Dan's locations in Bismarck/Mandan. |
